Special Cases

Special Cases such as Section 61, Special Direction and Appeals

There are some special cases where an application gets declined or you get an invitation by Immigration to submit your special direction request in order to be considered a visa. Or there may be grounds for appeal.

These appeals include but are not limited to:

  • Residence visa appeals
  • Appeals against deportation
  • Humanitarian appeals

If you are not happy with a decision made by Immigration or feel you have grounds to make further appeals for your case, NZ Immigration Solutions invites you to discuss your problems with us and allow us to assess your circumstances from an immigration adviser’s perspective.

If you are unlawful in New Zealand, you are strongly advised to depart lawfully in order to be considered an entry into New Zealand lawfully in future. However, if you hold genuine reasons for becoming unlawful and wish to discuss your options before departing, contact us immediately to determine whether you may have grounds to submit a Section 61 request.
